Today we traveled back down to Newberry National Volcanic Monument. John was the hike leader.
They first hiked Paulina Falls. When we got to the parking lot it started to snow.

Today we traveled back down to Newberry National Volcanic Monument. John was the hike leader.
They first hiked Paulina Falls. When we got to the parking lot it started to snow.
Next they hiked the Big Obsidian Flow.
Then we traveled to the Paulina Lake Campground to drop off those who wanted to hike the Paulina
Lakeshore Trail.
Paulina Lake.
Paulina Peak.
All kinds of weather today, rain, snow, hail and some sun, but very strong cold bone-chilling wind.
We had planned to go the Paulina Lake Lodge for lunch, but discovered it closed on Tuesdays.
Dinner tonight at the Deschutes Brewery.
